Last night in Rome with a good dinner in this restaurant. The waitress seated us right away. She's very sincere and provided as her full attention. The clams and risotto were yummy.

The menu is extensive. This in itself is a red flag, since we learned from our food tour guide that less is more, and a big menu is generally established for tourists.
With no real expectations, we were happily surprised. Our meal was quite good -- and yes, there were plenty of tourists! We ordered a calamari/prawn combo, pork, spaghetti (the sauce wasn't as good as we've had) and a Caesar salad, which was somehow disappointing. Add of course a bottle of house red.
An added plus with al fresco dining is that there are water misters -- last I saw that was in Six Flags! -- which made a steamy night, quite pleasant.
